About 1755-L1

The 1755-L1 controller is a Bulletin 1755 industrial controller. The controller has been designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. The controller is an important component of the Allen-Bradley GuardPLC 2000 system and it forms a complete system with other parts like a digital I/O module, analog input module, analog output module, high-speed counter module, and a relay output module. The GuardPLC 2000 system comprises a fail-safe computer processor and all the necessary safety parts. The GuardPLC 2000 controllers meet the requirements of the IEC 61508 (SIL 3) and ISO 13849-1 (PLe/Cat. 4) standards. This kind of system has the ability to detect faults on time and to ensure that the controlled machinery is always secure. The 1755-L1 controller includes certifications like the UL, C-Tick, CE, and F standards.

The 1755-L1 controller features an operating voltage of 3.3 Volts DC and 5 Volts DC. This controller has user memory that includes 500 kilobytes of application code memory and 500 kilobytes of application data memory. The current draw of the unit is 1.5 Amps at 3.3 Volts DC and 1 Amp at 24 Volts DC. The 1755-L1 controller meets the CE standards including the EN 61000-6-4, EN 50082-2, and the EN 61326 standards. The 1755-L1 controller is intended for an operating temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit) and it should be stored at temperatures from -40 to 85 degrees Celsius (-40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit).
