The development of multimedia communication technology provides rich means for information acquisition and transmission, and TRICONEX 3301 video capture is an indispensable and important component of it. There are various methods for video capture, and with the urgent need to reduce system costs and improve reliability, embedded video capture systems have become a new research and development hotspot. This solution uses the S3C2410 microcontroller as the hardware platform, and achieves real-time collection and storage of video data by transplanting the Linux operating system with hardware functions.
The system platform adopts Samsung’s S3C2410 processor, which integrates an ARM920T processor core and is a 32-bit microcontroller with independent 16KB instruction cache and 16KB data cache, LCD controller, RAM controller, NAND Flash controller, parallel I/O port, 8-channel 10 bit ADC, and a main frequency of up to 203MHz. On the basis of abundant processor resources, relevant configurations and extensions have been made. The TRICONEX 3301 platform is equipped with 64Mbytes 8-bit NAND flash memory and 64Mbytes 32-bit SDRAM. A network port has been extended through the Ethernet controller chip CS8900A, and a serial interface and two HOST/DVICE USB interfaces have been introduced. By attaching a USB camera to the USB interface, the collected video image data can be stored in a memory buffer, or processed and saved using JPEG compression processing programs. The data can be stored in NAND flash memory for remote host access, or sent directly to the control host in the remote network through the CS8900A extended network interface. Figure 1 shows the hardware diagram of the system, where the USB port is connected to a digital camera, the serial and network ports are used as input and output devices, NAND flash memory and SDRAM are used as storage devices, and the JTAG port is used to burn embedded Linux operating systems and application programs into Flash memory.
The AS1528/29 series adopts an 8-pin 3 × 3mm TDFN package, with a working environment temperature of -40 ℃ to+85 ℃.
