When the 3500/22M output carries an inductive load and the load loses power, it will cause a surge current impact on the output of the PLC. Therefore, for DC inductive loads, a continuous current diode should be connected next to it, and for AC inductive loads, a surge absorption circuit should be connected in parallel, which can effectively protect the PLC. When the output of two physical quantities has been software interlocked inside the PLC, it should also be interlocked outside the PLC to strengthen the reliability of the system.

The number of 3500/22M points varies among different PLC products. Some have 8 output points per COM point, some have 4 output points, and some have 2 or 1 output point. When there are multiple types of loads and high currents, PLC products with one COM point and 1-2 output points are used; When there are many loads but few types, using a PLC product with 4-8 output points at a 3500/22M point can bring a lot of convenience to the circuit design. Adding a fuse at each COM point, adding a 2A fuse for 1-2 outputs, and adding a 5-10A fuse for 4-8 outputs.
