In response to this, 531X307LTBAJG1  Company has developed a cloud connected edge processing solution SL-PREDMNT-E2C1 for industrial motor status monitoring. This solution combines ST’s motion and environmental sensors, STM32F4 microcontroller (MCU), and STM32MP157 microprocessor (MPU) into the same state monitoring and predictive maintenance framework. It connects intelligent sensor nodes to cloud services such as data lakes and monitoring dashboards.


The intelligent sensor node includes selected environment and various vibration sensors, an 531X307LTBAJG1  MCU, and multiple connection interfaces. These nodes are placed on or around industrial machinery to collect temperature, pressure, and humidity data from LPS22HB and HTS221 sensors, as well as vibration data from IIS3DWB three-axis accelerometers. The STM32 MCU of the same 531X307LTBAJG1  node initiates edge processing to convert vibration signals into frequency and time domain data.
After merging data from up to four sensor nodes, it is routed through a concentrator to a gateway equipped with STM32MP157 MPU for further edge processing. Before sending all data to a server based or cloud computing based system for further analysis, the node will purify and integrate the data.
