Although the the third mock 57405  redundancy technology can greatly improve the reliability of the system, the cost is also huge. It is not difficult to see the two drawbacks of using TMR technology from its basic structure: firstly, due to hardware redundancy, the chip area increases by more than three times the original size; Secondly, due to the delay between the three clock signals and the addition of a voting circuit at the output, additional delay is introduced on the critical path, resulting in a decrease in the operating speed of the circuit.

If the critical 57405  delay between the two flip flops in the design is too short (such as a shift register), the problem of unstable circuit output and circuit state error may occur in the operation of the the third mock examination redundant circuit structure in Figure 1. Figure 2 is a circuit diagram of a 4-bit shift register reinforced with the third mock examination redundancy. The circuit of the TMR_DFF module in the figure is shown in Figure 2.
