From the perspective of the overall structure of dual power 57C430 , it is not as simple as paralleling the outputs of two simple independent PC power supplies. A dual power supply consists of two independent switching power supply units, a power control unit, and a casing. The single switching power supply has interfaces that support hot swapping characteristics. However, the appearance of the dual power supply determines that it cannot be installed on a regular PC chassis (unless the chassis provides a special backplane). Its volume is more than twice that of a regular ATX power supply and needs to be installed on a server specific chassis.

Each 57C430 switch power supply unit can be independently removed and supports hot swapping. We see that the light-emitting diode on the power supply casing is used to indicate the working status of the individual power supply, which can help maintenance personnel quickly determine which power supply unit has a malfunction. When the power supply unit is working normally, the green light will be on.

In order to facilitate power insertion and removal, a dedicated handle is also provided on the power supply unit, and the power switch is also provided on the server dedicated dual power supply 57C430 . When a single power supply fails, the AC power supply to this unit can be turned off in a timely manner. Additionally, through this switch, the unit can be temporarily shut down for individual simulation fault testing purposes. The internal structure of a single power supply is similar to that of a regular ATX power supply, except that the output interface is different.
