To enable different input power 6410-009-N-N-N to simultaneously bear the load current (i.e. current sharing control), an additional prerequisite is required, which is that the voltage of each input power source can be externally adjusted through control signals to achieve the goal of basically the same voltage for each power source. By controlling this power supply through LTC4350, the function of current sharing can be achieved. Figure 9 is an application example diagram, in which “SHARE BUS” is a shared distribution bus among various chips. This circuit mainly adjusts the input power supply voltage by detecting the current on the power path, achieving the goal of balancing the current provided by each module.


RSENSE is a current detection resistor, and 6410-009-N-N-N detects the voltage at both ends of the resistor. After internal amplification, it is compared with the voltage of the GAIN pin. Based on the comparison results, the analog output of the IOUT pin is used to control the voltage change of the input power supply, in order to adjust the output current of this power supply. In addition, the UV and OV pins are respectively undervoltage and overvoltage detection pins. 6410-009-N-N-N can control the MOSFET’s turn off by detecting the voltage of these two pins, achieving the functions of undervoltage protection and overvoltage protection.
