Communication DTM is used for communication between remote I/O and control system backbone networks.

Gateway DTM is used to integrate remote I/O system master station. This modular DTM allows end users to replicate the I/O module structure implemented in the application.

Device DTM is used to support intelligent devices connected to corresponding remote I/O modules.
