XL6008 has a fixed switching frequency of 400KHz, and its inductance enables the mutual conversion of electrical energy and magnetic field energy. When the internal MOS is closed, the inductor converts electrical energy into magnetic field energy and stores it. When the internal MOS is disconnected, the inductor converts the stored magnetic field energy into electrical energy. The output electrical energy of the inductor is superimposed with the input power supply voltage, and then filtered by a capacitor through a diode to obtain a smooth and low ripple DC voltage that is provided to the load.
