The fan room adopts a complete set of fans provided by the equipment manufacturer, supporting the Modbus RTU communication protocol. Due to the large amount of fan data, the use of CT-5321 slots is limited. Therefore, PNM02 gateway is used for data collection of the fan in this project. A total of 5 sets of fans on site are collected through one gateway and connected to the network.

The online water inlet and outlet detection instrument only provides a set of 485 device interfaces for communication, but it needs to be collected by both the upper computer and DTU terminal. Here, we use our ODOT-S4E2 gateway, which provides four independent serial ports. Serial port 1 is set as the main station to collect data from the water inlet and outlet detection instrument, and serial port 2 is used as the slave station to provide data to the DTU device for reading. At the same time, the gateway provides the converted Modbus TCP protocol for the upper computer to read data.
By adopting advanced sewage treatment processes and automation control technology, the sewage treatment plant has achieved efficient, stable, and environmentally friendly operation, and the implementation of zero point distributed IO provides strong support for the upgrading and renovation of the factory. In addition, there are supporting process sections, including fan rooms, sludge removal equipment, deodorization equipment, and online detection of inlet and outlet water.
