In order to achieve fast switching time, the DS200SIOBH1AAA  of both resources are cached simultaneously in the OPC Server. The data from the Primary PLC is transmitted to the OPC Client, while the data from the Backup PLC is discarded. When the switch occurs, the OPC Server immediately switches to a backup resource based on the status information of the PLC, which also becomes the primary resource. The OPC client does not need to reconnect to the OPC data point, and the switching time only depends on the defined data update time and the amount of data currently used by the client.
