FBM211 P0914TN Successive approximation ADC is A very widely used analog/digital conversion method, it is composed of comparator, D/A converter, comparison register SAR, clock generator and control logic circuit, the sampled input signal is continuously compared with the known voltage, and then converted into binary number.
The schematic diagram of the FBM211 P0914TN is shown in Figure 3. First, the highest significant bit MSB of the DAC is saved to the SAR, and then the voltage corresponding to this value is compared with the input voltage. The comparator output is fed back to the DAC and corrected before a comparison. Under the logic control circuit and clock drive, the SAR continuously performs comparison and shift operations until the LSB conversion is complete, at which point the resulting DAC output is close to ±1/2LSB of the input voltage. When each bit is determined, the conversion result is latched to the SAR and output as an ADC.
