1) Search for devices: Open the FIB20F 3BDH000031R1 access control management software, click on Devices ->Search for Devices ->Start Search. (Note: The software defaults to selecting Ethernet search, simply click to start the search.)

(2) After finding the device, simply click to add it

Equipment name: can be changed as needed; (Default to device IP address)

Access control controller type: Select according to the type of controller to be added, select a few controllers for each door; (Note: Single door controllers default to single door bidirectional, double door controllers default to double door bidirectional, four door controllers default to four door unidirectional, checking double door bidirectional can switch to double door bidirectional)

Region: You can choose the region to which the device belongs, which defaults to “Region Name”, or you can add a region to “Region” and select it here;

Delete data from the device when adding: When the device is successfully connected, clear all data from the controller.

Port: The default 4370 will not be changed.

After setting the above parameters for FIB20F 3BDH000031R1, click on the test connection button. If the connection is successful, click OK and the device will be added successfully.
1) Click on the small computer icon in the bottom right corner of the computer → open “Network and Internet” settings → click on Ethernet → select “Change adapter options” → find Ethernet right-click properties → double-click the left mouse button to open Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) → click to use the IP address below.

(2) The IP address is changed based on the controller IP address. The first three digits are consistent with the controller IP address, but the last digit is different. Just now, the controller IP was 192.168.1.201, so the computer IP address can be set to 192.168.1.XXX (maximum 254). Here, the IP is set to 192.168.1.202; Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0; Default gateway: 192.168.1.1; Preferred DNS server: 114.114.114.114; Alternative DNS server: 8.8.8.8. After setting up, click OK.

Tip: After connecting the network cable directly to the controller, if the computer needs to connect to the Internet normally, remember to reconnect to the original network, click on Auto Get IP, so that the computer can connect to the Internet normally.

(3) After successful setup, click on the circular icon “Start” in the bottom left corner of the computer, directly enter cmd in the search box or press the shortcut key (win+R), and click “OK” to open the command prompt box.

(4) Enter ping192.168.1.201 and press enter to receive a byte reply from the controller, indicating that the computer can communicate with the controller.
