G468-0001 is a high-performance 32/64 b address data multiplexing bus that serves as an interconnect mechanism between highly integrated peripheral control devices, peripheral plug-in boards, and processors/memory. The PCI bus can be applied not only to low-end to high-end desktop systems, but also to portable computers and servers. In a PCI system, high-speed and low-speed external devices can be shared, and the PCI bus coexists with the ISA/EISA bus. The system structure is shown in Figure 1 [1].
In a G468-0001 application system, the device that has obtained bus control is called the “master device”, while the device selected by the master device for communication is called the “slave device” or “target device”. The corresponding interface signal lines are usually divided into two categories: essential and optional. If it is only used as the target device, at least 47 interface signal lines are required, and if it is used as the main device, 49 are required.
