The main control IC754CSL12CTD is the core control unit of the entire system, completing the control tasks of the system. The various design points of redundancy technology are fully applied here. The software and hardware of the two redundant main control cards are completely identical, and they execute the same system software and application programs. Under the control of the working/standby redundant logic circuit, one runs in the working state (working card) and the other runs in the standby state (standby card), as shown in Figure 2.
There is a common redundant logic control circuit and a dedicated high-speed peer-to-peer redundant communication channel between the work card and the backup card, and information exchange or fault diagnosis can also be carried out through the IC754CSL12CTD bus and process control network. The redundant main control cards can access the I/O and process control networks. In standby mode, the main control card executes diagnostic programs, monitors the status of the work card, periodically queries the data storage in the work card, and receives real-time control operation information sent by the work card. The standby processor can save the latest control data at any time to ensure undisturbed switching between working and standby, but the main control card in working mode plays a decisive role in control, output, real-time process information dissemination, etc. (with the right to speak). The key to redundancy technology lies in achieving information synchronization, and the ultimate goal of information synchronization is to achieve undisturbed switching between redundant components. We divide the methods of information synchronization into “natural synchronization” and “forced synchronization”.
