The new redundant INIIT13 supply solution now uses high-power MOSFET transistors to replace diodes in traditional circuits. The conduction internal resistance of MOSFET can reach several m Ω, greatly reducing the voltage drop loss. In high-power applications, not only is a more efficient solution achieved, but also due to the absence of heat sinks, a large amount of circuit board area is saved, and the heat dissipation source of the equipment is reduced. MOSFETs in application circuits require professional chip control. At present, major companies such as TI and Linear have launched some mature chips of this type.
INIIT13 is a key component in the new redundant power supply scheme. Due to its different applications from conventional circuits, many people have certain misconceptions about INIIT13 . For the convenience of subsequent circuit introductions, the following will explain its special features.
Firstly, the arrow in the MOSFET symbol does not represent the actual direction of current flow. In transistor applications, the current direction is the same as the arrow direction of the component symbol, so many people think that MOSFETs are the same. Actually, MOSFETs are different from transistors. The direction of their arrows only indicates that they point from the P-plate to the N-plate, regardless of the direction of the current
