The high-frequency transformer in Figure 4 achieves an electrically isolated current feedback loop consisting of three pins of IS200VRTDH1DAB. When the output terminal is short circuited or the output is overloaded, the primary current of the transformer increases, causing the voltage of UC3844’s three pins to increase. When the voltage of the three pins is greater than 1V, the internal current amplifier narrows the conduction width to achieve the protection of MOSFET tubes and transformers.
