The 67WKS-M240/3 is a retired drive from the 60wks Analog Servo Amplifier Series retired by Kollmorgen. It features a 3 X 80 – 220/50 … 60Hz + max. 10% rated supply voltage and a 310 V rated DC-link voltage. The 67WKS-M240/3 can hold a ballast circuit pulse power of 5.4 kW and a 200 W ballast circuit continuous power reading.
The 67WKS-M240/3 is an inverter module designed and developed by Kollmorgen to implement high dynamics in various control systems. The 67WKS transistor inverter is engineered to operate under the permissible supply voltage range of 3 × 60 – 172 V. The intermediate circuit of the inverter unit operates at the rated voltage of 240 VDC and it consumes the rated current of 3.5 A. The model helps in controlling the speed and current of the brushless servo motors by using PI controllers. The model comes with a built-in three-phase rectifier and 3 × 16 AM fuses to provide protection against overvoltage. The 67WKS transistor inverter maintains its internal temperature by using the phenomena of natural convection. The module must be mounted vertically in the 6U plug-in module. If two 67WKS units are mounted together then forced-air ventilation must be provided to maintain the ambient temperature of the system. During continuous operation, the module undergoes the maximum power loss of 40 W. Several display LEDs are placed at the front of the module for diagnosing faults and displaying the operating status of the unit.
