KONGSBERG RMP420 is a ship controller module produced by Kongsberg, Norway, designed specifically for remote input and output systems on ships. This controller module uses a Serial Processing Bus (SPBus) to connect controller computers and remote input and output (I/O) signals in the process network.

Interface: SPBus interface adopts 9-pin male DSUB connector, supports RS-485 (multipoint) communication protocol, the maximum frequency is 2 MHz, and the signal code is Manchester code (self clock).
Digital input: The circuit voltage is 24 VDC+/-20%, the maximum input current is 4 mA (at 24 VDC circuit voltage), the channel “off” current is less than 0.5 mA, and the channel “on” current is greater than 3 mA.
Digital output: The circuit voltage is also 24 VDC+/-20%, the circuit driver is 1 A, the anti short circuit “high voltage side” driver (HSD), the circuit driver trip current is about 1.4 A (reset by command), and the maximum leakage of the circuit driver when disconnected is 2 mA under 24 VDC circuit voltage.
