Design and Manufacturing:

The SST-PB3-CLX module is designed and manufactured by Molex and is a Profibus scanner module. It is also manufactured by Allen Bradley and Woodhead in the SST product line.
Applicable platforms:
SST-PB3-CLX is a slot based communication module designed specifically for the Rockwell ControlLogix platform.
Functional features:
Supports Profibus DP master and slave modes, allowing CLX processors to communicate remotely with DP remote I/O devices through the Profibus network.
Equipped with a PROFIBUS D-sub female module with 9 pins for communication.
PROFIBUS scanners available for Allen Bradley 1756 backplane systems and Honeywell PlantScape systems.
It can display the connection status and any faults that may occur during the normal operation of the module through its LCD panel and three LED indicator lights.
Supports two data transfer modes: direct mode and paging mode.
