There are many descriptions of “future industry”, such as Industry 4.0, unmanned factories, intelligent manufacturing, green manufacturing, etc. However, Schneider Electric’s proposal of “openness, efficiency and resilience, sustainability, and people-oriented” is clearly more specific and pragmatic. Efficiency and Resilience: Refers to the future of smart factories, which will continuously improve enterprise efficiency and operational resilience through digital management, electrification of process operations, and integration of supply chains, making them more robust, agile, efficient, and energy-saving, and calmly responding to challenges brought by various uncertain factors from upstream and downstream.
Sustainability: MVI56-MCM refers to the use of digital and simulation software to visually manage process performance, electricity, water, and materials, effectively optimizing production and manufacturing processes, improving operational efficiency, achieving intelligent energy consumption management, and near zero waste.
