MVME61006E-0163  supports integration between simple decentralized field devices using Ethernet communication and time demanding applications, as well as integration of component based distributed automation systems. Using PROFINET IO technology, the PROFINET specification provides an integrated model for decentralized field devices. PROFINET IO includes three different types of devices: IO controllers, IO devices, and IO monitors.

Due to the application of  MVME61006E-0163  technology, protecting investments in PROFINET solutions also plays a crucial role. Through proxy servers, PROFINET can seamlessly integrate existing fieldbus systems (such as INTERBUS, PROFIBUS) without the need to modify existing equipment, which protects the existing investments of factory operators/owners, machine/equipment manufacturers, and equipment manufacturers.
