This is a type of application specific machine vision (ASMV) system. Figure 12 shows an example. SCXI-1102 is a visual system designed for specific applications. Except for installation and product specific configurations, it can be used directly without any engineering work. The higher cost of ASMV can offset the advantage of almost no need for engineering applications. In addition, compared to other visual systems designed for only one installation, more comprehensive on-site support is also available.

The last category is embedded visual systems. There is currently no completely consistent definition of what an embedded visual system is. SCXI-1102 can actually be considered as a visual system designed for integration into the final product, with the camera and processor tightly coupled, as shown in Figure 13. Mainly for OEM to integrate it into the product.
