The mapping PDD200A101  between the starting address of the Modbus register and the memory address of the gateway PM-160 can be manually allocated or implemented using the software’s “automatic mapping” function according to the user’s actual needs. According to the user’s on-site needs, two read commands are configured for each node in the configuration software. The first command continuously reads “first sampling”, “second sampling”, “third sampling”, and “instantaneous value”, while the second command reads “cumulative flow”. In this project, the user is using the software’s “automatic mapping” address function.

In the PDD200A101  configuration interface of S7-300 PLC, after importing the GSD file of Modbus to PROFIBUS DP gateway PM-160, configure three PROFIBUS DP slave stations (PM-160) under PDD200A101  the PROFIBUS DP bus. The corresponding address of each slave station should be consistent with the setting value of the gateway PM-160 button (i.e. the display value of the digital tube under normal operation of the gateway). Drag the required data blocks (the total byte length of 6 Modbus slave stations that need to upload data) to the corresponding slots of gateway PM-160, and establish a mapping relationship between the PROFIBUS DP master station I/O mapping area and the memory addresses of each PROFIBUS DP slave station (PM-160). After configuration is completed, compile and download to the PLC to start data debugging and communication. The configuration interface is as follows:
