PFSA103C Tension sensors, also known as pressure sensors, are available in the market. There are two types of feedback voltage range based on the measured pressure, namely strain pressure sensor and differential pressure sensor. The voltage range of strain type pressure sensors is usually 0-13 mV, while the voltage range of differential pressure sensors is usually 0-150 mV. In order to meet the different choices of users, there must be two amplification factors in the signal amplification circuit, so that the system can operate normally.
In order for the collected analog voltage to be accurately amplified, the amplification circuit must have high performance. The amplification of millivolt signals requires high common mode ratio, low linear error, and low offset drift gain. Ordinary PFSA103C cannot meet this requirement. Instrument amplifiers not only have the above high performance, but their closed-loop gain is determined by the external resistance connected between the inverting input and output terminals. Therefore, a closed-loop gain instrument amplifier device AD620AN with differential input and single ended output was adopted here. The PFSA103C closed-loop amplification resistor selects two resistors with an accuracy of 1% to achieve two different amplification factors. Then use the jumper cap switch to select the appropriate amplification factor.
