In the traditional field of electric drive, PFXA 401SF control and tension control are very classic control links. At the same time, due to differences in control objects, process requirements, control accuracy, and effectiveness, there are corresponding technical development difficulties. Synchronous control is widely used in industries such as textiles, printing and dyeing, and papermaking. Due to such control requirements, products such as Zhongda synchronous controllers have emerged. However, with the increasing demand for equipment technology and cost from customers, simply using synchronous controllers to achieve synchronous control is no longer sufficient to meet their requirements.

Integrating PFXA 401SF high-precision synchronous control and constant tension control with products such as human-machine, PLC, frequency converter, servo, and DC speed regulation has become a new technological trend. Delta Electromechanical products utilize their own characteristics and high cost-effectiveness to provide customers with mature and comprehensive synchronization and tension control solutions and systems.

According to the PFXA 401SF  synchronization and tension control block diagram shown in Figure 1, the entire system is mainly composed of 1 unit rack, and the speed of 1 unit is given as the main factor multiplied by the synchronization ratio coefficient of 1 channel. Namely, Out1=Kd1 * Vo (where Kd1 is the 1-channel synchronization ratio coefficient, and Vo is the given value). Out2=Kd2 * Vo+Kf2 * Vf2 (Kd2 is the 2-channel synchronization ratio coefficient, Kf2 is the 2-channel feedback ratio coefficient, and Vf2 is the channel 2 feedback signal), similarly Out5=Kd5 * Vo+Kf5 * Vf5 (Kd5 is the 5-channel synchronization ratio coefficient, Kf5 is the 5-channel feedback ratio coefficient, and Vf5 is the channel 5 feedback signal). This is the traditional synchronous control system. A potentiometer is installed on the coaxial of the tension roller, with a power supply of+5V.

When the PFXA 401SF  tension roller is in the middle balance position, the output of the potentiometer is adjusted to 0V. When the tension roller deviates from the balance position, the feedback signal will change, with a range of+5V. The feedback quantity is multiplied by the feedback coefficient, and then the synchronization ratio coefficient is multiplied by the main given value to obtain the total output. Therefore, when the tension roller deviates from the balance position, the output of the corresponding synchronous controller will decrease or increase, automatically adjusting the frequency of the frequency converter to achieve dynamic balance, so that the tension roller always swings slightly near the balance position, achieving synchronization effect.
