In order to ensure that the two redundant SG2K-1T have equal access to external information (I/O communication, network communication), the redundant components have the same communication interface to ensure consistent input information within the cards. The two redundant cards have their own communication channels. As long as the same input information is transmitted simultaneously on both communication channels, the two cards can obtain the same information. This synchronization of input information through external devices is called “natural synchronization”. Natural synchronization occurs between redundant systems and external devices.

The work SG2K-1T holds the initiative, represents the overall speech, and transmits various status information to the backup card through redundant communication to achieve synchronization of control tasks, which is called “forced synchronization”. “Forced synchronization” ensures that the internal control status of the backup card is consistent with that of the work card through redundant communication, occurring between redundant card components. The specific synchronization methods used vary depending on the characteristics of the variables
