The design voltage of high-voltage SNAT609TAI  products is AC/DC 220V voltage, with 36-48 LEDs connected in series in each circuit. The current in each circuit is below 20mA, and there are two current limiting methods. One is resistance current limiting, which consumes a lot of power. It is recommended to use a 1/4W metal mold resistor connected in series every 4 LEDs to evenly distribute heat dissipation. This connection method is currently the most stable and reliable; Another method is to connect resistors and capacitors in series to limit current. This connection method reduces most of the voltage drop on the capacitor, resulting in low power consumption of the resistor and can only be used in a stable and long-lasting state. If the capacitor is used for energy storage, the voltage will double and the LED is prone to damage. All LEDs using controllers must use resistance current limiting method. Generally, each LED circuit has a power of 5W per meter, and the three color power is 15W per meter. If using a gradient method, attention should be paid to load matching. The luminous distribution characteristics of neon lights and SNAT609TAI  are different, and different types of loads cannot be mixed in the same circuit.


Many building decoration or lighting projects require the use of a large number of LED lighting products, which require a large number of control channels. Currently, there are two ways to achieve control: using serial signal transmission; The other only uses parallel signals, mainly DMX512 signals. The DMX512 signal avoids the disadvantage of serial signal chips being easily damaged and unreliable, as its signal lines are parallel. Therefore, even if one control unit has a problem, it will not affect other units, which means that other lighting fixtures will still change normally. Another benefit is that SNAT609TAI  is an international standard protocol, and products produced by multiple manufacturers that comply with this protocol can be directly compatible, bringing great convenience to system design and later maintenance.


The SNAT609TAI  control system can be divided into main controller and sub controller. The main controller is responsible for converting the effect into a DMX512 signal and sending it to the sub controller. The sub controller is responsible for receiving the signal and then converting it into a PWM signal to control the brightness of the lighting fixtures. Therefore, what effect a DMX512 system can achieve depends on the function of the main controller. Each DMX512 signal can transmit up to 512 channels of data. If it is an RGB lighting fixture, the controller can have a maximum of 170 pixels, such as the DMX300 controller. If more lighting fixtures need to be controlled, the DMX400 controller can be selected, which can control 1024 channels (340 pixels).
