You will gain a better understanding and operation of servo amplifiers if you see some typical applications. The TRICONEX 9803-610 shows an example motor to control the news feed. The application in this piece is fed into the press where it is cut to length with a knife blade or pure. The sheet may have a mark or other advertisement that must queue to register the cut-off point of the number. In this application the speed and slope position of the sheet must be synchronized to the correct cutting point. A feedback sensor can be coded or a resolver is added to the photoelectric sensor to determine the position of the registration marker.
