TRICONEX HCU3700/3703E is a high-performance multifunctional microprocessor that plays an important role in industrial automation and control systems. This microprocessor has multiple significant features and advantages.

Firstly, HCU3700/3703E uses a 25 Gbps channel that complies with the 8-bit open memory interface (OMI) standard to interface with the CPU, and can be bridged to memory through a 72 bit DDR4 3200 interface. This design enables it to serve as the foundational building block for various OMI memory applications, such as Differential Dual Inline Memory Module (DDIMM) applications. Specifically, it supports standard height 2U DDIMMs with capacities ranging from 16 GB to 128 GB and dual height 2U DDIMMs with capacities exceeding 256 GB.

In addition, the memory interface of HCU3700/3703E supports x72 bit DDR4-3200, 2933, or 2666 MT/s memory, up to 4 levels, and supports up to 16 GBit memory devices. It also has 3D stacked memory support and persistent memory support, and is compatible with NVDIMM-N modules.

In addition to its advantages in memory management, HCU3700/3703E also performs well in signal processing and visualization. It can be used for oscilloscope views of signal curve graphics display and supports OPC UA communication technology to better integrate it into TwinCAT Scope software. This integration makes data recording more convenient, without the need to install additional software on the target device.

In addition, the target browser of HCU3700/3703E has also been extended to support OPC UA, making it easier for users to manage connected data sources in TwinCAT projects.
