The XVS-430-57MPI-1-10 water tank supplies water to external users with unstable water usage, varying in frequency. The inlet of the water tank can be pumped in by a water pump, and the water level in the tank needs to be controlled at a constant level, which can be adjusted within the range of 0-200mm (the maximum value data can be determined according to the height of the water tank). If the water level value of the water tank is set to 100mm, regardless of the water output of the water tank, adjusting the water intake requires the water level of the water tank to remain at the 100mm position. If the water output is low, the water intake should also be controlled to be low, and if the water output is high, the water intake should also be controlled to be high.
Because the liquid level height is directly proportional to the water pressure at the bottom of the water tank, a pressure sensor can be used to detect the pressure at the bottom of the water tank and determine the liquid level height. Use PD algorithm to automatically adjust the water level. XVS-430-57MPI-1-10 sends the water level signal of 4-20mA detected by the pressure sensor to the PLC. The PLC performs PID calculation on the deviation between the set value and the detected value, and outputs the calculation result to adjust the speed of the water pump motor, thereby adjusting the water intake. The speed of the water pump motor can be adjusted by a frequency converter.

1) XVS-430-57MPI-1-10 and its module selection. The PLC can choose S7-200cPU224. In order to receive analog signals from pressure sensors and adjust the speed of the water pump motor, an EM235 analog input/output module is selected.

2) Selection of frequency converter. In order to adjust the water intake, Siemens G110 frequency converter is selected.

3) Touch screen selection. Select Siemens TP170B touch screen human-machine interface.
